Naked as we came

I'm sitting at work, staring intently at the screen with my headphones on. 'Naked as we came' starts playing, and it makes me miss my wife pretty badly. I haven't heard this song in a while, so it's almost like hearing it for the first time again. I miss waking up next to her in a tangle of sheets and blankets. I miss her.

She says wake up, it's no use pretending,
I'll keep stealing, breathing her.

I don't know how you handle it. CL went away for the weekend. It sucks sleeping alone.

Picking her up at O'Hare yesterday, I saw her face from a city block away. It made me so happy.

Hope you are well. I'm still trying to wind down into small town life. I'll call you soon.

Man, why do we do this.

Elisa said the same thing Friday, when I went up to NY to see her. She saw me as she was crossing Broadway, and said that when she saw me, it made her feel good.

Yeah, let's try not to suck about calling.
